CppNorth's Volunteer program is geared towards providing a welcoming environment for all, including volunteers, attendees, and speakers.
Our program is focused on enriching the volunteer experience, this includes attending talks, meeting, and chatting with all of the wonderful speakers and attendees. A wonderful part of this whole experience is getting to know and connecting with fellow volunteers.
Great News! Volunteers will also have the ability to attend and engage in sessions during the conference. The volunteer duties will be distributed in a way accommodating that, as we believe attending sessions will greatly benefit our volunteers in learning and getting engaged with the speakers & attendees.
What You'll Do
Volunteers are an important part of this conference. The volunteer duties include:
Speaker Support
Assisting speakers and workshop hosts to get setup on the AV system
Timing Assistance
Helping the speakers with timing and session management
Welcome Packages
Assembling and handing out welcome packages
Attendee Support
Answering questions and helping attendees navigate the conference
Registration
Registering speakers and attendees at check-in
General Support
Various other tasks to ensure the conference runs smoothly

How much time commitment is required?
Volunteer shifts are typically 4-6 hours, and we schedule them to allow you to attend sessions.
Will I get a free conference ticket?
Yes! Volunteers receive complimentary conference registration.
Can I specify my preferred volunteer activities?
Absolutely! We'll ask about your preferences in the application and do our best to match them.
