We are excited to announce that April Wensel, founder of Compassionate Coding, will be delivering a keynote address at CppNorth 2024. April is a leading voice in the tech industry, advocating for a more inclusive and empathetic approach to software development. Her work at Compassionate Coding has been instrumental in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech community, and her insights on the human side of programming have inspired countless developers around the world.
Speaker Bio
April Wensel is an international keynote speaker, software engineer, and technical leader whose varied career spans such fields as education, research, healthcare, and entertainment.
After a decade in the tech industry, she founded Compassionate Coding in order to bring more compassion to the software development process through team and individual training.
Away from the keyboard, she enjoys gleaning fruit, running ultramarathons, and cooking vegan food—because animals deserve our compassion, too!
