Transparency Report

<p>Updated January 30, 2023.</p> <p>An incident was reported to the CppNorth board on December 9, 2022 of a case where a member of the CppNorth organizing body inappropriately touched another person at the CppNorth conference. The incident occurred at the conference venue during a conference activity. CppNorth is a technical conference focused on inclusion, community, and learning.</p> <p>The incident violated our code of conduct. It was not reported immediately. The person who was inappropriately touched is now prepared to proceed with a report of the incident.</p> <p>Because of this violation we have asked the organizer to step down from their CppNorth role(s). This person will also not be permitted to attend the 2023 conference in any capacity.</p>
