Announcing Code of Conduct Chair

We are delighted to welcome Karen Connelly as our new Code of Conduct Chair!

Karen, who is external to the C++ community, brings a wealth of experience and professionalism in fostering a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all conference participants. Her expertise in this role will be instrumental in ensuring that our Code of Conduct is effectively implemented, addressing any concerns or incidents that may arise, and maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for everyone.

Karen Connelly is an award-winning writer, educator & psychotherapist who specializes in a neurobiological approach to healing trauma and compulsivity, especially for creative & gifted people. She also facilitates conflict resolution work in families and small organizations. She leads two different work and play initiatives, The Courageous Writers' Academy Online and The Olive Grove Retreat, a land-based, digital detox experience in an olive grove in Lesvos, Greece. She's the author of eleven books with another on the way: The Therapist In The Olive Grove. Most of the time, she lives in Toronto with her family. www.karenconnelly.ca
